Here’s a fun project. I took a mahogany guitar body that was almost ready to assemble and decidd to add a sweet quilted maple top to it. This required me to reduce the thicknedd of the mahogany with my router planer sled. Then I was able to attach the resawed, and bookmatched maple top to it. After re-routing the pickup holes and redrilling the string through holes, the top was back to its original thickness, and ready for finish.
