Welcome to episode 1 of the Cigar Box Guitar. I hadn’t intended on having 2 episodes for this project, but after editing all of the video, it turned out to be 30 minutes long.
This was a fun project to built, and the guitar is certainly fun to play. However, a lot of this project was just a step in my learning how to build guitars. My goal is to be able to make my own guitar necks, and I thought this would be a great project to start on.
Another suprise during this project was the start of Hayley Guitars. This is my brand of guitars. When I build one, it will be branded with this name. I wanted to use Baker Guitars, but that is already taken.
