Homemade Paracord Jigs

I’m preparing for a project my daughter and I will be doing and thought it would be helped along if I made some jigs. We will be braiding some paracord for some bracelets. This is a project that she wanted to do after I used some paracord to replace some zipper pulls.
I looked around online and found many different designs. Not really knowing what we needed or didn’t need, I grabbed a few ideas and set to work first cutting down a piece of 3/4″ plywood to use as the base. After routing out a slot that would hold a short piece of T Track, I wrapped the plywood in some hardwood strips just to cover the edge. This was just to make the piece look a bit more finished. Then i cut some riser blocks and the top blocks from some various hardwood scraps. I was trying to just use pieces I already had on hand for this project. One of those riser blocks got glued in place and reinforced with some screws. After drilling some holes in the center of those blocks, and epoxying in a cut off bolt, I thought it would be fun to use the inkjet transfer method, to transfer some ruler marks onto the jig. These turned out to not really be in the correct spot, but it still works for a rough idea of the size. Then I sealed it all up with a couple coats of laquer, installed the t track, and assembled the remaining pieces. The clips get held in place with some plastic electrical cable clamps.
These turned out neat. I am super excited to try them out and see how they really work.
