Welcome to the first of several videos I will be doing for the Great Guitar Buildoff for 2021. In this first episode, I’m introducing the Dorian from Hayley Guitars. The Dorian mode is the second mode of the major scale and this model is the second model from Hayley Guitars.

In this episode I’m making the body. The body of this guitar is made from Mahogany with a quilted maple top. I’m going to get the stock prepped, glued up, and then use my templates to shape the body.
