Welcome to Episode 4 of the Great Guitar Build Off 2021. This is a big moment because in this episode, I’m applying some TransFast water soluble dye to the quilted maple guitar top. Then its on to the finish. I’m applying an oil finish to the neck and then spraying some Crystalac Brite Tone on the guitar body. Once the Brite Tone has cured, I’m going to wet sand and polish the body to a beautiful shine. Check out episode 4 below.

A couple of you have asked about how the winners are chosen so here are a few details. At the end of June all of the entries will go to a Public Vote. That means all of you will vote for your favorites and the top 10 will advance to the GGBO panel of judges. From there, the judges will choose the winners.
