Well, I’ve been talking about it for a while now and finally, I got a 3D Printer. I picked up the Creality Ender 3 v2. I’m ready to get it assembled and unboxed. Since I have no experience with this whatsoever, I thought it would be fun to bring you along for the whole process.
There are many assembly videos of this machine out there and I almost watched a few before starting into this, but I decided not to. I wanted to keep this completely natural and unbiased. I wanted to figure it out myself, to run into the same problems as someone else might, and that is exactly what happened.
I got the machine all assembled, but it wasn’t without troubles. I missed a few details along the way and had to take some parts back off to get it right. Overall though, the assembly wasn’t too difficult. One thing I found was that its important to read not only the text in the instructions, but to also look at the pictures and read the notes on them as well. The instructions read step by step, but they leave out a few things that the pictures cover. If you only read the steps you might miss something. Thats what I did. I only went off the written instructions and didn’t pay attention to the pictures as well as I should have. There are important notes on the pictures that you will need.
Since I’ve gotten this up and running, I’m really enjoying the process of figuring it out. The machine itself isn’t too complicated, its the process of getting the files built so you can send them to the machine. Of course, if you want to download any of the thousands of models that can be found online, you can start 3D Printing right away. I have a few things in mind though that require me to design them myself.
I hope you find this Ender 3 v2 assembly video helpful. I’m excited to get into the 3D Printing world. Thanks for stopping by.
