3D Printed Radius Block, .stl file only

$8.99

This is the digital .stl file for my 3D Printed Fretboard Radius Blocks. The blocks are 8″ long and work with standard 2 3/4″ wide sticky back sandpaper. I print these from regular PLA filament on my Ender 3 v2 Printer. I use 20% infill and have found this to work well.

Most of the time the sandpaper sticks well to the PLA, but depending on the particular filament and sandpaper you choose to use, you may encounter some issues getting the sandpaper to adhere well. I’ve found that in most cases, if I wipe the surface clean with some isopropyl alcohol, that is enough to make the sandpaper stick. I have also applied some blue painters tape to the radius block then stuck the sandpaper to that. Typically I am able to just stick the sandpaper right to the block with minimal adhesion issues.

This download is a zip file and will need to be extracted using your program of choice. Inside this folder you will find the .stl file and a ReadMe file that includes some tips and other information.
